    Booking Terms

    Payment schedule, cancellation policy, and stay terms for guests booking Palisades Tahoe Cabin directly with us. Bookings made through Airbnb follow Airbnb's policies.

    How Payment Works

    1. Submit a booking request through our site.
    2. We confirm availability via email within 24 hours.
    3. Pay a 50% deposit to secure your dates.
    4. Pay the remaining balance 60 days before check-in.

    Payment is handled via secure payment link sent in our confirmation email. Same nightly rate as the Airbnb listing — without the platform's guest service fee.

    Cancellation Policy

    All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

    • 60+ days before check-in — Full refund minus a $75 processing fee.
    • 30–60 days before check-in — 50% refund of total booking value.
    • Less than 30 days before check-in — No refund.
    • No-show or early departure — No refund. Unused nights are non-refundable.

    Security Deposit

    A $500 refundable deposit is due at booking and returned within 5–10 business days after check-out, provided no damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning are required.

    Travel Insurance

    We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for cancellations due to weather, illness, travel delays, road closures, or other events outside our control. Our cancellation policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation.

    Stay Terms

    • Check-in: 4:00 PM
    • Check-out: 11:00 AM
    • Minimum stay: 2 nights
    • Maximum guests: 8
    • Pets: Not allowed (service animals welcome — please notify before booking)
    • Smoking: Not permitted anywhere on the property
    • Events / parties: Not permitted without prior written approval
