June in Olympic Valley — quick questions

The stuff guests ask before booking a race weekend.

The cabin is ½ mile from the Village at Palisades Tahoe — basically walking distance to the start line, packet pickup, and finish festival. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms across two levels, it's a great fit for crews, training groups, or families traveling together. Book 3+ months out for race weekend.

Yes — we're a 2-minute drive from the start line. Past WSER guests have used it as a basecamp for crew and pacers, with the runner sleeping here the night before, then everyone caravaning to aid stations along the course. The 4-bedroom layout works well for a full crew.

Very. Broken Arrow, TrailCon, and Western States together draw thousands of athletes and supporters. Expect packed restaurants and full lots at trailheads. The benefit of staying in the valley itself: skip the parking, walk everywhere.

Variable. Early June can still see snow in the high country and cool nights (40s). Late June is typically 70s–80s during the day, 50s at night. Trail conditions in early June can be patchy with snow on north-facing aspects above 8,000 ft.

Race weekends (June 18–21 for Broken Arrow, June 27–28 for Western States) are the highest demand. Book 3+ months out to be safe. Mid-June between events has more availability.
