July is peak event density with Wanderlust, 4th of July, and free concerts every Tuesday and Friday. August has the biggest music weekend (Reggae Festival headliners), classic cars on the West Shore, and the warmest lake temperatures.

Daytime highs climb from the high 60s in early June to the 80s by mid-July, holding through August. Nights are cool — typically 40s in June, 50s in July and August. Lake Tahoe water temp peaks late July through August in the high 60s. Always pack a layer for evening.

Yes — that's actually the most common booking. Four bedrooms split across two levels, two bathrooms, and a chef's kitchen built for family-style meals. Past guests include Western States crews, Wanderlust groups, ski-week teams, and multi-family vacations. Sleeps 8.

Yes. The Village is ½ mile away — about a 10-minute walk. Wanderlust, Bluesdays, SunSets, the Reggae Festival, Brews Jazz & Funk, and Broken Arrow all happen at or near the Village, so you can leave the car parked all weekend.

Highest-demand weekends: 4th of July, Wanderlust (mid-July), Reggae Festival (early August), and Concours d'Elegance (mid-August). Aim for 3+ months out for those. Race weekends (Broken Arrow late June, Western States late June) book just as fast among the trail running crowd.

Smoke risk is unpredictable but generally lower in early summer (June, early July) than late summer (late August, September). We monitor air quality and will share an honest update before your check-in if conditions are problematic. The cabin's HVAC keeps indoor air clean.
